Job Description
The Vendor Data Specialist role at IPG is responsible for master data management across multiple systems. This role involves providing training, guidance, and support on master data sets. The specialist will handle creation and maintenance activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service level agreements and business controls.
Role Involves:
- Coordinating and performing tasks for master data creation and maintenance.
- Creating, maintaining, and verifying global intercompany records.
- Auditing and verifying incoming information for accuracy.
- Analyzing and answering email inquiries.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of Master Data processes.
- Assisting with training of new employees.
- Interacting with agencies, vendors, and internal departments.
- Reporting on monthly key metrics.
- Analyzing and cleansing master data sets.
- Assisting with vendor diversity and IRS reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of experience in a similar position preferred.
- Strong data analysis and manipulation skills.
- Proven success in handling uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional composure in dealing with urgent requests.
- Strong priority setting and organizational skills.
- Action-oriented with a fast pace.
- Knowledge of relevant PC software applications (especially Excel).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
