Tax Intern

Job Description

The Tax Intern position at IPG, located in Omaha, Nebraska, offers an opportunity to learn about state sales and use tax regulations within the advertising industry. The intern will contribute to the tax department by assisting with various tasks and projects.

Role Involves:

• Filing sales and use tax returns.
• Completing supporting documentation.
• Reviewing and researching unclaimed property.
• Maintaining and updating detail accounts.
• Assisting with sales tax audit defense.
• Preparing and filing sales tax returns.
• Running departmental reports.
• Assisting internal customers with questions.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior seeking a Bachelor of Accounting, preferred.
• Must have excellent computer knowledge of Excel.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• G.P.A of 3.0 or higher preferred.
