Job Description
Proton is seeking a dynamic and motivated Office Manager to join their growing team in London. This part-time role (50-60%, with potential to evolve to full-time) will support the London-based team, ensuring the office runs smoothly and remains a great place to work. The Office Manager will work closely with the Office Manager Lead located in Switzerland. The position requires office presence every morning and may involve physical work and time flexibility.Proton believes that privacy is a fundamental human right and the cornerstone of democracy.   • Supporting staff onboarding and offboarding.
  • Welcoming visitors.
  • Overseeing administrative duties and ensuring smooth office operations.
  • Organizing staff travel arrangements.
  • Drafting and managing the office operational budget.
  • Managing relationships with vendors and the landlord.
  • Monitoring service provider performance.
  • Managing office supplies and food/drink inventory.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Organizing office events and animating office life.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Work experience in an administrative/office management role.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter and result-driven attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in technology, especially Microsoft Office applications.
