Job Description
CVX Ventures is seeking a Head of New Markets to spearhead its expansion across Europe. This role involves leading the growth and execution in existing and new markets, building high-performing local teams, and owning the global strategy. The Head of New Markets will represent CVX publicly, drive culture, and participate in deal flow and investment decisions. This is a hands-on leadership position reporting directly to the Board.
Role involves:
- Leading growth and execution across all CVX markets.
- Building, managing, and inspiring high-performing local teams.
- Owning the global strategy from market entry to operational excellence.
- Leading the expansion of the angel investor network.
- Representing CVX publicly.
- Being involved in deal flow and investment decisions.
- Driving culture, excellence, and performance.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience with a strong desire to build and lead.
- A strong leader with humility and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to relocate temporarily for new market openings.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience in consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups.
- Passion for startups, investing, and ecosystem building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
- Strong sales mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
