Job Description
CVX Ventures is seeking a Head of New Markets to spearhead its expansion across Europe. This role involves leading the growth and execution in existing and new markets, building high-performing local teams, and owning the global strategy. The Head of New Markets will represent CVX publicly, drive culture, and participate in deal flow and investment decisions. This is a hands-on leadership position reporting directly to the Board.

Role involves:
  • Leading growth and execution across all CVX markets.
  • Building, managing, and inspiring high-performing local teams.
  • Owning the global strategy from market entry to operational excellence.
  • Leading the expansion of the angel investor network.
  • Representing CVX publicly.
  • Being involved in deal flow and investment decisions.
  • Driving culture, excellence, and performance.

Requirements:
  • 3-7 years of experience with a strong desire to build and lead.
  • A strong leader with humility and willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to relocate temporarily for new market openings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience in consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups.
  • Passion for startups, investing, and ecosystem building.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong sales mindset.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
