Job Description
Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking a Annual Distributions Team Leader. The candidate will be responsible for leading the Annual Distributions Team and ensuring regulatory deadlines are met for processing required distributions. The candidate will manage the department's operations effectively.
Role involves:
- Managing 8-10 staff members
- Championing Nova 401(k) Associates values and policies
- Ensuring client and participant satisfaction throughout the distribution process
- Managing the team to meet Nova's overall service standards and regulatory deadlines
- Monitoring team productivity through daily report generation
- Developing reports for senior management
- Assisting in training and mentoring of junior staff members throughout the year
- Managing daily inflow and outflow of annual distribution requests
- Improving existing processes and assisting in developing new processes as needed
- Keeping current with new regulations and proposed legislation as well as an awareness of proposed legislation surrounding loans and distributions
- Performing other related duties as required
- Completing performance reviews in a timely manner
- Attending Nova’s leadership & development training in Houston (or other location)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of five years of management experience in a fast-paced & high-volume environment
- Relevant industry experience processing or reviewing 401(k) loans/distributions
- Comfortable working online
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Superior organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task
- Clean background check
- ASPPA/NIPA industry credentials a plus
