Machine Learning Architect

Job Description

Caylent is seeking a Machine Learning Architect to join their Cloud Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ML system design and a passion for driving innovation with customers, partners, and colleagues. This role involves working alongside Caylent’s Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers to deliver AWS solutions to a diverse customer base.Responsibilities:

• Guiding Cayliens and Customers through Agile ceremonies.
• Translating customer requirements into a workable backlog of tickets.
• Delegating tickets to a team of engineers.
• Leading requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions.
• Applying understanding of DevOps pipelines.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in customer environments.
• Automating software testing and monitoring results.
• Writing production quality code with tests.
• Delivering cloud native applications on AWS for customers.
• Communicating and documenting designs, processes, and procedures.
• Mentoring peers and learning from the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
• Expert level experience in Amazon SageMaker and ML libraries (TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of ML concepts: feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Neptune, Comet).
• Addresses client questions and identifies gaps in requirements.
• Facilitates alignment across stakeholders.
• Breaks down complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
