Jonsson Workwear is seeking a visionary and results-driven Manufacturing Systems Engineer to spearhead the utilization of technology to optimize production. The Manufacturing Systems Engineer will serve as the go-to expert for all manufacturing systems-related matters, bridging the gap between manufacturing processes, data platforms, analytics, and IT while championing continuous innovation. This role involves leading the Lesotho-based Data Analytics team, bringing expertise, decisive leadership, and hands-on guidance to create a connected, intelligent manufacturing environment.

• Taking ownership of all digital manufacturing systems, platforms, and reporting tools.
• Liaising between the manufacturing team and HQ on all IT–related projects.
• Leading the implementation of all digital transformation projects.
• Leading and mentoring a growing team of technical support staff.
• Maintaining collaboration across teams to align digital initiatives with our business goals.
• Ensuring a holistic view of how our manufacturing systems integrate with IT and AI.
• Bringing a curious and proactive mindset, and continuously seek industry advancements.
• Traveling occasionally between manufacturing sites to support implementation and alignment.

Requirements:

• Qualified industrial engineer with applied knowledge in advanced analytics.
