Job Description
Oklo Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support its Quality Assurance program. This role involves assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems for internal programs and external supplier oversight, aligning with ASME NQA-1 standards and regulatory expectations. The QA Specialist will work closely with various teams to ensure quality requirements are met and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Role involves:
  • Coordinating and documenting external vendor and internal quality audits.
  • Monitoring supplier performance through data collection and report preparation.
  • Maintaining and updating audit schedules and QA records.
  • Reviewing procurement documentation for QA alignment.
  • Tracking and resolving nonconformances, including corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
  • Supporting quality training initiatives and developing QA materials.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participating in the management of the company’s Corrective Action Program.
  • Preparing metrics, reports, and presentations related to quality system performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or quality-related field; or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years in QA roles in regulated industries).
  • Familiarity with quality system standards such as ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1, or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of QA processes such as document control, audits, and nonconformance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard QA tracking/documentation tools.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to grow within a high-impact QA role.
  • Enthusiasm about advanced nuclear energy and clean technology.
