Ocado Technology is seeking an Engineering Operations Specialist to play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and supporting key initiatives across engineering and product teams. This role is central to technical operations, contributing to product development, operational rollouts, and shaping engineering standards. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, advocate for central engineering services, and support new product launches, ensuring efficient and scalable systems.
Role involves:
- Leading and contributing to technical decisions and continuous improvement.
- Supporting product development through the full lifecycle.
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support and assisting with incident resolution.
- Monitoring new product and process developments.
- Supporting site launches and standardisation of practices.
Requirements:
- Two years in the Hardware Engineering Graduate program.
- Experience supporting major site launches and managing operational practices.
- Experience leading in crisis situations and applying LEAN or Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Empathy, humility, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.
