Job Description
Ocado Technology is seeking an experienced Engineer to join their team at the largest Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith. The Engineer will be a key point of contact for critical technical issues and will ensure the smooth operation of state-of-the-art technology through proactive maintenance and improvement works. This role involves working on a variety of machinery, including conveyor networks, lifts, and cranes.
  • Being the principal point of contact for critical technical issues
  • Keeping the operation running smoothly through proactive improvement works and maintenance activity
  • Working on a range of machinery, from conveyor networks to lifts and cranes
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Strong technical competency
  • Experience in FMCG background (ideally)
  • Computer literate and eager to learn new skills
  • Creative, solution-focused mindset
  • Health and safety conscious, comfortable working at height
  • Level 3 qualification or relevant engineering degree
