Job Description
Ocado Technology is seeking an Engineering Technician for their Customer Fulfilment Centre in Purfleet. This is a secondment opportunity for 4 months. The Engineering Technician will be the first line of response for engineering faults, working to diagnose and resolve issues. They will also carry out planned servicing and repairs, and get involved in proactive improvement projects.- Diagnosing and resolving engineering faults
- Carrying out planned servicing and repairs
- Participating in proactive improvement projects
- Working a shift pattern to support 24/7 operation
- Technical understanding of automation hardware/software and control systems
- Formal engineering qualification (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and share knowledge effectively
- Comfortable working at height using access equipment
