Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Body Shop Manager to lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of body shop operations. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to the Body Shop Launch team, ensuring seamless integration into the production process and the successful launch of automated BIW operations. This role requires a background in the automotive industry, specifically with BIW operations and high automation levels.Responsibilities include:
  • Providing strategic direction for body shop operations.
  • Supervising and mentoring the Body Shop Launch team.
  • Monitoring the execution of the manufacturing validation plan.
  • Facilitating communication between teams and stakeholders.
  • Providing support in addressing challenges and resolving issues.
  • Overseeing the implementation of quality control procedures.
  • Coordinating the material plan for the Body Shop.
  • Reviewing and analyzing reports on the Body Shop’s status.
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in the automotive industry with BIW operations.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
