Job Description
Fictiv is seeking a Production Lead/Manager to lead assembly operations in their advanced manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico. This role requires a leader with 7-10 years of management experience in multinational manufacturing environments. The Production Lead/Manager will be responsible for ensuring top-tier performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development.
Role involves:
- Leading and managing all aspects of assembly production.
- Developing and implementing strategic production plans.
- Driving the application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Global Program Management teams.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing a high-performing team.
- Championing a robust quality culture.
- Contributing to the evaluation and implementation of advanced automation solutions.
- Managing the production budget effectively.
- Ensuring a world-class safety culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field) is required.
- 7-10 years of progressive leadership and management experience in high-volume, complex assembly operations.
- Extensive experience managing diverse product portfolios.
- Certified Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt certification highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
