SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity), founded in 1963, aims to close educational and career opportunity gaps. It is seeking a Program Manager for SEO Protégé, an initiative of the SEO Leadership Institute. The Program Manager will oversee the daily operations of SEO Protégé, fostering mentoring relationships between senior executives and early-career professionals. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong relationship, project management, and communication skills.
Role involves:
- Collaborating with SEO board members, alumni, and staff to recruit mentors and mentees.
- Leading and facilitating virtual and in-person events and training.
- Making appropriate mentor-mentee matches and supporting their relationship building.
- Supporting the development of presentations, webinars, and program materials.
- Managing technical and administrative aspects of the program.
- Tracking expenses and forecasting future expenses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in professional and leadership program development.
- Experience with program evaluation and measurement preferred.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Zoom, and content databases.
