Senior GRC Analyst

Job Description

The Weather Company is seeking a Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to shape and maintain its cybersecurity and risk management strategies. The Senior GRC Analyst will lead initiatives to ensure compliance with key regulatory frameworks, drive enterprise-wide risk reduction efforts, and champion a culture of proactive security and compliance across the organization. This role requires expertise in risk assessment and regulatory compliance. The Senior GRC Analyst will work cross-functionally with IT, security, and business teams to implement controls, support audits, identify vulnerabilities, and strengthen operational resilience.What this role involves:

• Defining internal requirements to meet regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Implementing enterprise-wide strategy and projects focused on technology risk reduction.
• Collaborating with IT and business teams on projects related to maintaining security and compliance controls.
• Identifying points of operational vulnerability and dependencies across technology services.
• Assisting in creating a culture of risk and compliance awareness through training and education.
• Performing security and compliance assessments on new and existing systems, processes, and technology.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes.
• Participating in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT governance, risk management, audit, compliance, technology process design & control, or other related technology competencies.
• Experience leading large multi-stakeholder projects.
• Experience auditing, managing, or implementing risk frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, and/or SOC 2.
• Excellent understanding of the interdependencies of multiple infrastructure technical.
