Job Description
Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio (GCSA), supported by GI Alliance, seeks a dynamic Nurse Practitioner for their Hamilton Wolfe/Medical Center location. This role offers the opportunity to deliver superior patient care within a physician-led, excellence-driven network.
The Nurse Practitioner will work under the direct supervision of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing scheduled patient services
- Completing patient histories and physicals
- Determining tentative diagnoses and ordering appropriate laboratory tests
- Counseling patients and families on health and disease
- Participating in continuing education and training
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner
- Gastrointestinal experience
