Financial Analyst, BCMA Commercial

Job Description

Legend Biotech is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join their BCMA Commercial team. This role is based in Somerset, NJ, and involves supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, working closely with the commercial team. The Financial Analyst will assist with budgeting and forecasting, support month-end close activities, prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports, and create executive-level presentations.Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation and coordination of financial planning activities.
• Gathering and analyzing financial data to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Supporting month-end close activities with the accounting team.
• Preparing and maintaining monthly and quarterly actual vs. budget and forecast performance.
• Contributing to the creation of executive-level presentations.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements within financial reporting and planning activities.
• Aiding in ensuring adherence to key controls and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 1-3 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• FP&A or business partnering experience in a matrix environment.
• Prior life sciences industry experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of SOX financial controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel.
