Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Paint Shop Manager to oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of paint shop operations. The role involves providing leadership and guidance to the Paint Shop team, ensuring seamless integration into the overall production process, and the successful launch of highly automated painting operations.Responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic direction for paint shop operations.
• Supervising and mentoring the Paint Shop Launch team.
• Monitoring execution of the paint shop manufacturing validation plan.
• Facilitating communication between teams and stakeholders.
• Overseeing implementation of quality control plans.
• Coordinating and validating the material plan for paint.
• Reviewing and analyzing reports on the Paint Shop’s status.

Lucid Motors requires candidates to have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in the automotive industry with a strong background in paint shop operations, a high automation level, and launch activities.
• Proven leadership and managerial skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a leadership role overseeing paint and coatings industry operations.

Lucid Motors also prefers candidates to have:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
