Job Description
iCapital is seeking a bi-lingual Alternative Investment Internal Sales Specialist to support the distribution partnership with a major wealth management client. This role involves working with advisors, bankers, and investment counselors to increase alternative investment adoption. The individual will report to the regional team lead for North America and Latin America.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for sales and service inquiries.
- Generate alternative investment product sales in partnership with external sales partner.
- Become an expert on the merits of alternative investments.
- Travel in coverage territory as requested.
- Work with the client’s Alternative Investments team on new fund launches.
- Work in close partnership with asset management partners to raise capital.
- Mandatory CRM usage and maintenance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Able to sell and provide support for a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
- Series 7 & 63 licenses are required.
- CFA and CAIA charter holders are preferred.
- Must obtain CAIA within 3 years of hire.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is required, with Spanish being preferred.
