Impact Communications Strategist

Job Description

Mozilla Foundation is seeking an Impact Communications Strategist to join their Strategic Communications team. This role focuses on crafting an impactful presence for the Foundation and its values, expanding outreach to target audiences through various mechanisms such as social listening, news judgment, and external partnerships. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and a self-starter, ready to engage key people with impactful storytelling.Responsibilities:

• Creation and execution of strategic communications and marketing plans.
• Craft and implement a unified working process for advocacy and community building.
• Lead project management for StratComms Studio outputs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan campaigns and engagement opportunities.
• Supervise rapid-response marketing and communications initiatives.
• Develop issue-specific communications strategies aligned with Mozilla’s goals.
• Ensure online presence is optimized for engagement and conversion.
• Measure and analyze the efficiency of communications initiatives.
• Develop audience-specific communications and marketing strategies.
• Ensure integration of style guide and core messages across all channels.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Expertise in digital marketing and content creation.
• Experience in brand development and identity management.
• Ability to craft compelling storytelling across multiple platforms.
• Established relationships with members of the press.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
