Job Description
The Mozilla Foundation is seeking an Impact Communications Strategist to craft an impactful presence for the organization and its values. This role involves expanding outreach to target audiences through various mechanisms, including social listening, news judgment, community management tactics, and external partnerships. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and a self-starter, ready to attract and engage key people around impactful storytelling with Mozilla.
Role involves:
- Creation and execution of strategic communications and marketing plans.
- Crafting and implementing a unified working process for advocacy, communications, and community building.
- Leading project management for StratComms Studio outputs.
- Collaborating with internal teams to plan and execute campaigns and events.
- Supervising rapid-response marketing and communications initiatives.
- Developing and implementing issue-specific communications strategies.
- Collaborating on digital strategy efforts.
- Measuring and analyzing the efficiency of communications initiatives.
- Developing audience-specific communications and marketing strategies.
- Ensuring integration of style guide, verbal identity, and core messages.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of corporate communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement strategies.
- Strong experience in brand development, positioning, and identity management.
- Ability to craft compelling storytelling across multiple platforms.
- Established relationships with members of the press.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
