Parallel is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team. This role involves serving as the face of Parallel for students and schools seeking care, introducing Parallel’s services to prospective clients from B2B marketing channels and referral partnerships, and following up with leads to answer their questions and help them make informed decisions.
What this role involves:
Researching and identifying new business opportunities.
Applying sales development best practices.
Utilizing discovery and objection handling strategies.
Engaging with prospects to articulate Parallel’s value proposition.
Recording contacts and outreach using our CSM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
Demonstrating ability to consistently achieve and exceed program targets.
What you need:
1-2 years of experience in business development or 4-5 years of experience in the classroom.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Strong and empathetic verbal communication.
High level of comfort making cold calls.
Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
Attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
