Job Description
PhonePe Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience and a passion for working with data to uncover insights. This role involves being an integral part of the pod strategy, defining critical metrics, and monitoring performance trends. The Business Analyst will collaborate with business and product functions to translate business problems into analytical problem statements, providing unbiased answers through data-driven analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Define critical metrics and monitor performance trends.
- Collaborate with business and product functions.
- Own the insight generation phase and provide unbiased answers.
- Contribute individual thoughts on how to improve critical metrics.
- Act as the analytics and visualization SME for the team.
- Mentor other analysts and participate in the hiring process.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of analytics experience in relevant roles.
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
- Penchant for business & curiosity to understand how the product works.
- Ability to write complex queries on SQL.
- Strong working knowledge in Excel and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView.
- Understanding of data-analysis languages such as R, Python and in core statistical concepts.
- Ability to clearly explain thoughts and ideas either verbally or in the written form.
