Backbase is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team and contribute to the quality assurance of their Digital Lending platform. This platform enables banks to better understand their customers, anticipate their needs, and maintain engagement throughout the loan process. Backbase utilizes AI/ML technology to analyze and automate loan application approvals.

The QA Engineer will focus on all aspects of quality, using their technical skills to implement repeatable processes for continuous delivery. They will collaborate with developers and other QA Engineers to promote best practices in test automation.

Role involves:

  • Implementing repeatable processes for continuous delivery.
  • Providing technical expertise in all aspects of quality assurance.
  • Collaborating with developers and QA Engineers to promote best test automation practices.
  • Performing manual and automation testing.
  • Building testing processes inside the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Hands-on skills in test automation (Java or JavaScript/TypeScript), API testing, and frontend testing.
  • Experience and understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins or similar).
  • Experience with at least one of the Selenium-based testing framework.
  • Experience testing API endpoints, preferably using REST Assured.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Living in Kraków or nearby area and willing to come to the office twice per week.
