Job Description
JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981, is now a leading multi-channel retailer of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores and is focused on offering customers the latest products from top brands. They are looking for a Manager to join their team for a new opening in Bolzano, Italy.This role is key in managing the store and ensuring its success. The Manager will be responsible for various tasks, including economic management, personnel management, customer service, visual merchandising, and logistics/loss prevention.
- Ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives and the constant growth of KPIs
- Managing costs and optimizing store profitability through the execution of sales strategies
- Ensuring optimal management of the staff organization within the store
- Recruiting staff in collaboration with the People department
- Developing and motivating staff and promoting career progression within the group
- Ensuring the quality of customer service in compliance with procedures
- Managing complaints effectively and professionally
- Ensuring the good general presentation of the store in collaboration with the merchandising team
- Communicating product launch guidelines to staff and ensuring their correct execution
- Managing the entry and exit of goods
- Actively participating in the prevention and control of store losses in collaboration with the profit protection manager
- Ensuring the daily management of cash operations
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Previous experience in managing structured points of sale, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Leadership and good relational and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Office package (Outlook, Word and Excel)
