Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team in Newark, CA. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, installing and configuring software applications, and providing technical training to users. The IT Support Specialist will work with external vendors, respond to user inquiries, and maintain accurate documentation of resolved issues.

Role involves:
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Installing, configuring, and updating software applications
  • Troubleshooting Okta, Active Directory and other corporate supported accounts
  • Performing advanced hardware troubleshooting and replacements
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of resolved issues
  • Performing routine checks on systems to identify potential issues
  • Providing basic technical training to users

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role
  • Associate's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience
  • In-depth understanding of OS X, Windows, Linux, Okta, Microsoft Office Suite, network protocols, Adobe Suite, and common hardware components
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately document issues and follow established procedures
