Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Process Technical Program Manager to advance HV battery process technology. This role involves leading innovative processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and solving problems throughout the development of HV battery programs. The ideal candidate will have strong process engineering skills in R&D and manufacturing operations.
Role involves:
- Developing and managing process roadmaps within the HV battery space.
- Managing the engineering development of various processes within high voltage battery products.
- Driving engineering activities to define timelines, requirements, and supplier selection.
- Owning and accounting for multiple HV battery processes.
- Improving process capabilities through design of experiments and data analysis.
- Supporting commissioning and qualification activities.
- Leading and participating in equipment breakdown investigations.
- Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Driving resolution of blockers to successful product delivery.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of process engineering experience in battery systems or similar products.
- Familiarity with data collection, statistical process control, and quality management.
- Experience with encapsulation compounds, laser welding, and bonding processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
- Experience in equipment commissioning & qualification (FAT/SAT).
- Strong understanding of automotive engineering product development.
- Experience with quality and problem-solving tools.
- Excellent organization and delegation skills.
- B.S. in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
