Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their AI and Machine Learning organization. This role involves strategizing product ideation, technical design, and execution steps for AI-driven solutions. The Technical Program Manager will gather requirements, prioritize processes across business stakeholders, and lead the AI product lifecycle from planning to execution and continuous support.

The role involves coordinating work between AI, data engineering, cloud platform services, and other relevant departments. It also emphasizes identifying risk areas, producing mitigation strategies, and maintaining effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely closure of AI program deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AI/ML and Digital teams to develop and execute the AI/ML product roadmap.
  • Strategize product ideation, technical design, and execution steps for AI-driven solutions.
  • Gather requirements and prioritize processes across business stakeholders.
  • Lead and own the AI product lifecycle.
  • Identify risk areas and produce mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate AI product and functional/technical safety requirement and test case documentation.
  • Drive consistent and timely closure of AI program deliverables.
  • Clearly communicate AI program status to the organization.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, AI, or a related STEM field, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in Product/Program management with a focus on AI.
  • Deep understanding of AI and software development.
  • Highly technical with a good understanding of digital and connected vehicle applications.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with programming languages relevant to AI development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
