Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Global Supply Manager to support Interiors. This role is based in Southfield, MI and requires full-time onsite presence. The Global Supply Manager will manage all company business with a group of suppliers and act as the key internal interface with various departments to deliver products effectively. They will also help establish the global supply chain strategy and drive business decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Role involves:
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
  • Creating RFQs, reviewing quotations, and developing sourcing recommendations.
  • Negotiating contracts including parts pricing and tooling costs.
  • Working with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production.
  • Managing supplier development and tooling timelines.
  • Maintaining supplier relationships and acting as the point of contact for commercial issues.
  • Traveling 15-25% to visit suppliers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with interior trims/seating commodities.
  • Knowledge of quality principles and product development processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems.
