Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Global Supply Manager to support Interiors. This role is based in Casa Grande, AZ and focuses on managing the supply chain for interior cabin components. The Global Supply Manager will be the primary contact between Lucid and its suppliers, working closely with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.

The role involves:
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify and qualify potential suppliers.
  • Creating RFQs, analyzing quotations, and developing sourcing recommendations.
  • Negotiating contracts, including pricing, tooling costs, and engineering services.
  • Managing supplier development, tooling timelines, and part availability.
  • Maintaining supplier relationships and serving as the point of contact for commercial issues.
  • Traveling 15-25% to visit suppliers for business and program reviews.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with interior trims/seating commodities (Instrument Panel, Door Trim, Center Console, Seating, etc.).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, cut & sew wrapping/assembly, and plastic chroming.
  • Product launch experience with knowledge of quality principles and product development processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
