Chargeback / EDI Compliance Specialist

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Supply Chain Supplier Compliance Specialist - EDI to lead communication between logistics, global supply management, finance, and suppliers to detail compliance challenges, propose corrective action, and enforce compliance to Lucid’s standards. This role is based 100% onsite in Newark, CA.Role involves:

• Onboarding suppliers to exchange EDI information with Lucid.
• Managing data interchange agreements.
• Resolving EDI related issues.
• Acting as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Identifying areas of opportunity within the compliance process.
• Leading and documenting the process of activating/deactivating supplier site locations.
• Forecasting compliance financial impacts.
• Serving as an internal resource and subject matter expert for questions and issues regarding EDI compliance.
• Managing the relationship with EDI value added network provider (TrueCommerce).
• Overseeing the onboarding of new customers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in EDI supplier compliance or related field.
• Experience in automotive or operations preferred.
• Deep understanding of EDI process and documents from demand to delivery.
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated history of owning and solving customer issues.
• Excellent organization skills to maintain records and follow cadence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think tactically and strategically, drive for results, and continuously drive innovation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with TrueCommerce or similar EDI providers is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, computer science, engineering, finance, business administration, or related field.
