Job Description
Galaxy is seeking a Product Manager to be the first product manager within a small team working on an exciting new initiative. The Product Manager will spearhead taking new products and features from concept to launch, building a customer-centric experience for Galaxy's web and mobile apps. They will ensure a cohesive product experience with a suite of market-leading and market-first offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, compliance, and business. This role spans from working directly with the executive team to leading sprints with the developers.Role involves:
  • Collaborating with executives to define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Conducting market research and gathering customer insights.
  • Collaborating with design and engineering teams to create user experiences.
  • Leading end-to-end product development.
  • Working closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Partnering with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Facilitating development activities.
  • Communicating product updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling successful web and/or mobile app products.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Experience with varying development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
