UI/UX Designer

Job Description

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join its Corporate Technology Department. The designer will translate business requirements and research into user-friendly interaction experiences for Veeam's web-based products and services. This role involves addressing UI design challenges and refining solutions using qualitative and quantitative insights.

The UI/UX Designer will work with cross-functional development teams to ensure design decisions meet business goals and user needs, adhering to the company's brand and design system.

Role Involves:

• Taking ownership of the entire design process.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams.
• Discovering user roles and scenarios.
• Creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Enhancing the company's design system.
• Improving designs based on data insights.
• Participating in design sprints.
• Leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Championing user-centered design principles.
• Providing basic front-end development support.

Requirements:

• A degree in Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
• A strong understanding of user-centered design and accessibility guidelines.
• Proficiency in web standards and responsive design.
• Ability to analyze logs and web statistics.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Familiarity with UX research tools and Agile/Lean UX methodologies.
• Skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
