Job Description
Angi is seeking an Account Manager to work with homeowners on large-scale home improvement projects. This role involves full-cycle sales, from qualifying leads to closing deals, and project management, remotely overseeing projects to completion. The ideal candidate will have a go-getter attitude, excellent attention to detail, and strong time management skills. This position offers the opportunity to help build one of Angi's fastest-growing business lines.
What this role involves:
- Responding to inbound leads from homeowners requesting services on Angi.
- Consulting and advising on projects to win business.
- Leveraging Angi's network of Service Providers to find the best fit and value for each project.
- Creating new partnerships with Service Providers outside of the network.
- Coordinating a high volume of home improvement projects, handling all details from client and service provider outreach to scheduling and invoicing.
- Cultivating a pipeline of business from 25+ leads per month while managing and advancing existing accounts.
- Managing the business pipeline and developing a strategy for long-term sustained success.
- Developing multiple relationships to help customers love their homes.
- Learning and developing skills in various areas such as coaching, project management, consultative sales, and vendor management.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer success, sales, or account management.
- Comfortability selling projects and reaching customers by phone, email, and text.
- Experience in building a book of business and managing strategic sales and project completion targets.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
- Good foundation in Excel/Google Sheets is a plus.
- Knowledge of home services/skill trades and/or real estate is a plus.
- Experience with ZenDesk is a plus.
- A proven track record of exceeding quota attainment is a plus.
- Comfortability with hitting monthly KPIs.
What Angi offers:
- Base salary of $50,000 + quarterly bonus.
- Average annual earnings $60,000 - $70,000 with top 10% earning as much as $80,000+ (with uncapped earning potential).
