Job Description
Whalar, a leading independent Creator and Social agency, is seeking an Associate Director, Client Services. The role involves overseeing client relationships, budgets, and timelines, acting as a central resource for expertise, and facilitating client retention and satisfaction. The Associate Director will manage the team's day-to-day tasks, deliver campaigns across social media platforms, maintain project workflow tools, assist in creator negotiations, manage contracting, track budgets, and support new business pitches.
  • Overseeing client relationships, budgets and timings across any executional workflows
  • Acting as the central resource that brings in the right expertise at the right time
  • Facilitating retention and client satisfaction through excellent operational and servicing standards, and quality creative output
Requirements include 6+ years of agency or brand experience, strong communication and organizational skills, a solid understanding of the creator economy, and a problem-solving mindset. Experience with gaming brands and creators is a plus. The role is based in New York or Los Angeles and offers a hybrid work environment with three days a week in the office.   • 6+ years’ agency or brand experience, including team management
  • Strong detail-oriented communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of the creator economy, social media advertising ecosystem
  • Appreciate and understand the value of top quality creativity
  • Curious self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive, can do attitude
  • Experience with gaming brands and creators is a plus
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery and account growth with large customer accounts
