Senior iOS Engineer at Backbase

Backbase is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their Wealth Engineering team in Madrid. What this role involves:

• Building new features and improving existing features in our wealth mobile banking products.
• Achieving high standards through comprehensive non-functional testing.
• Owning a set of mobile banking components.
• Collaborating with the Application Security team.
• Participating in agile and scrum ceremonies.
• Joining the mobile guild to grow knowledge.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant experience working on complex iOS-based products.
• Deep understanding of the MVVM architecture pattern.
• Experience with Cocoapods.
• Solid knowledge of UIKit Auto Layout and Constraint system.
• Experience using frameworks like Combine and UIKit.
• Understanding of building dynamic and static frameworks.
• Experience in writing unit tests.
• Hands-on technical experience with non-functionals such as security, performance and accessibility.
• Belief in writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Understanding the value of proper documentation.
• Experience in working with Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proactive, self-driven attitude.
