Job Description

The Student Hotel is seeking a Community Host/F&B Host for their Amsterdam City location. This role involves operating in all front-of-house areas, ensuring each guest has the best possible experience. The Community Host will provide a flawless welcome and check-in, offer excellent service in the restaurant and bars, and engage in conversations to make stays unforgettable. They will also be knowledgeable about the hotel's products and services, cross-selling them to guests.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests upon arrival.
• Preparing and serving a variety of dishes and drinks.
• Brewing coffee and mixing cocktails.
• Providing local recommendations and answering guest inquiries.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in all areas.
• Assisting guests with requests related to hotel facilities.

Requirements:

• Flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive approach.
• Background in hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Ability to handle responsibility and stressful peak periods.
• Fluency in English.
• European citizenship or legal permission to work in The Netherlands.
