A Junior UX Designer position in Madrid is available at Backbase. The candidate will help refine and implement features, create designs, refine journeys and screens, and work closely with developers. They will contribute to product implementation, workshops, and planning, while taking responsibility for the quality of their designs and building relationships within the UX Design Guild.

The role involves:

  • Focusing on specific journeys, features, or sub-features.
  • Enhancing existing journeys, features, or sub-features.
  • Supporting senior UX Designers.
  • Delivering implementable UX Design and coordinating delivery with development.
  • Contributing towards documentation in their team.
  • Observing UX Research sessions.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good theoretical knowledge with practical experience in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, User Interface Design, HTML/CSS, or User Research.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry (ideal).
  • Involvement in the lifecycle of a software implementation project (ideal).
  • Educational background in UI component Design, Interactive Design, or User Experience Design.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and the local language.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite.
