Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Behavior Technician in Albany, Oregon. The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. This role involves using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while also reducing interfering behaviors.
The role requires patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip and empower the Behavior Technician to help each child.
This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. At the end of each day, the Behavior Technician will have the satisfaction of knowing they have made a meaningful impact on a child's life.
