Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism in Salem, Oregon. The Behavior Technician will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
The Role Involves:
- Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reducing interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.
