Behavior Technician - Work with Kids - Training Provided

Job Description

Centria Autism is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with children with autism in Salem, Oregon. The Behavior Technician will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Role Involves:
• Working one-on-one with children with autism
• Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
• Using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reducing interfering behaviors

Requirements:
• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
