Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Center Based-Behavior Interventionist in Beaverton, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children with autism by working one-on-one and implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. The Behavior Interventionist will utilize evidence-based techniques to improve communication, social, and daily living skills, while also addressing interfering behaviors.
Role Involves:
- Working one-on-one with children with autism.
- Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reducing interfering behaviors.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
