Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Behavior Technicians to join their team. The Behavior Technician will work directly with children diagnosed with autism, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities include: - Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reducing interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
- Collecting and recording data on client progress.
- Collaborating with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements: - Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
