Job Description
Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support the development of children on the Autism Spectrum. The Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a 1:1 setting.Role involves:
- Providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
- Following prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collecting, recording, and summarizing data on client behavior.
- Assisting with parent and caregiver training.
- Ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Communicating client progress to parents and caregivers.
- Maintaining a clean and safe therapy environment.
- Assisting in the preparation of client materials and assessments.
Requirements:
- Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to obtain it within 45 days of employment.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
- Ability to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50lbs.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
