Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join their team in Gresham, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children with autism by working one-on-one and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. The Behavior Technician will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
Role Involves:
- Working one-on-one with children with autism.
- Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Reducing interfering behaviors.
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
