Job Description
Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join their team in Gresham, Oregon. This role involves providing ABA therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum in a 1:1 setting, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The Behavior Technician will play a crucial role in helping children develop critical skills and improve their overall well-being.
Role Involves:
- Providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
- Following prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collecting, recording, and summarizing data on client behavior.
- Assisting with parent and caregiver training.
- Ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Communicating client progress to parents and caregivers.
- Maintaining a clean and safe therapy environment.
- Assisting in preparing client materials and assessments.
Requirements:
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain it within 45 days of employment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50lbs.
