Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to positively impact children with autism. The Behavior Technician will work directly with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. This role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork.Role involves:
  • Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Reducing interfering behaviors
Requirements:
  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
