Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business sales revenue within specific banking segments in the UK. This role is based in London or its close proximity, demanding a highly energetic and passionate individual focused on new business acquisitions. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the sales cycle, proactively build a target prospect list, and develop a sales strategy for their assigned territory.

Role Involves:
  • Full ownership of the sales cycle from lead to close.
  • Proactively build target prospect lists and develop sales pipelines.
  • Build strong and effective relationships.
  • Pipeline and sales process management.
  • Tailoring Backbase's value proposition to prospects and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Participating in sales enablement training.
  • Collaborating with the Professional Services and Field Marketing teams.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years in enterprise software sales, focusing on new business.
  • Experience in sales within the Financial Services Sector, preferably fintech and banking.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
  • Experience in leading and presenting to c-level executives.
  • Availability to travel regularly.
