Job Description
Backbase, a fast-growing fintech software provider, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Sales team. This role involves a client-facing advisory position, driving digital banking transformation opportunities with new customers.
The Senior Account Executive will carry their own sales quota within the North America sales team and deliver digital banking transformation opportunities with net-new customers.
Role Involves:
- Identifying and closing Backbase business opportunities with new customer accounts.
- Managing and closing large software agreements ($1M+ ARR).
- Forecasting and managing new opportunities from identification to close.
- Leading customers to have value-focused digital banking strategies.
- Establishing a trusted advisor role with banking and financial institution customers.
- Aggregating and collecting requirements from customers and crafting business cases.
- Supporting Backbase's goal of building digital banking leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.
- Track record of exceeding quota.
- 5+ years experience in digital banking.
- Ability to reverse engineer business objectives to reach goals.
- Eagerness to solve tough problems for customers.
