Job Description
Centria Autism is seeking a Spanish-Speaking Behavior Technician to join their team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential and be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
    Role Involves:
  • Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Reducing interfering behaviors
  • Using evidence-based techniques
    Requirements:
  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Bilingual in Spanish
